The Dalang Greenway is a part of the Guangdong Provincial Greenway and also an important section of the 135-kilometer Ring Greenway in Longhua District. It connects with the Guanlan Xikeng Greenway in the east via the Xikeng Reservoir and with the Butterfly Valley station of the Guangming Greenway in the north, with a total length of about 7.02 kilometers.

The greenway stretches across the Dalang Shi'ao, Guanlan Dashuitian and Guangming Ejing Reservoirs. It is a nice summer getaway with lush vegetation, fresh air and cool breeze. Here you can not only relief yourself a little bit from the scorching summer, but also fascinate your eyes with the amazing natural landscape of the city's back garden from the viewing platforms on top of the greenway.

The greenway is suitable for cycling and hiking. As the first fitness-themed greenway in Shenzhen, it has interpretation boards on fit-keeping knowledge along the way and some stations for hikers to take a rest, which is also a nice destination for family gathering.
