Covering an area of approximate 116,000 square meters, the Baishilong Music Park in Longhua District is the first music-themed park in Shenzhen with a total investment of about 98,000,000 yuan (US$13,830,000). The park is a new option for leisure within the reach of residents at Baishilong, Minle subdistricts and the neighborhood of Shenzhen North Railway Station, and is a part of the ecological corridor comprising with Shenzhen North Railway Station Central Park, Yulong Park, and Danaoke Ecological Park. It comprises five functional zones including two entrances, two recreational areas themed by music, interactive facilities, a meadow, and a hiking pathway. The designs of sculptures, mats, benches and walls in the park are all inspired by musical elements such as stave scores and violin. The park is well-equipped with supporting facilities, containing three public toilets; a garbage transfer station; 12 special landscapes including plazas, bridges, and galleries; and a 60-place outdoor parking lot.
