As the largest and most comprehensive railway hub in Shenzhen, the station serves as a major interchange station for Metro lines 4, 5, and 6. Hundreds of thousands of commuters and travelers pass through the station each day.

HKMTR Shenzhen Co. has launched the multi-functional smart terminal service to cater to the travel needs of railway and Metro passengers.

This innovative terminal, a first in the domestic rail transport sector, is equipped with AI visual recognition and positioning technology. It is designed to work seamlessly with the MTR (Shenzhen) live+ mobile app, providing unique augmented reality (AR) panoramic views and virtual reality (VR) navigation services.

With the ability to navigate on-site, passengers can click on targets within or around the station on the terminal’s map to intelligently plan routes, view route videos, and scan QR codes to access real-time navigation routes via the MTR (Shenzhen) live+ WeChat miniprogram.

This service not only provides barrier-free navigation routes for wheelchair users and passengers with bulky luggage or strollers, but also offers precise interactive navigation services through the MTR (Shenzhen) live+ WeChat miniprogram for seamless, convenient, and efficient navigation.

The 55-inch multifunctional smart screen terminal is user-friendly, providing quick responses to passengers’ inquiries about route guidance, ticketing, station and operational information, boarding instructions, and local recommendations.
